Recording which social media site the respondent comes from

Hi, I would like to record the social media site the respondent would come from. I am planning to share the survey using an anonymous link on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. I read on Qualtrics' website that this can be done through Embedded Data (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/distributions-module/social-media-distribution/) I tried this with publishing a trial survey, but I could not record it. If you have collected this sort of data, could you please advise me on how to do this? Thank you!

Add an embedded data variable to the beginning of your survey flow such as 'site' and do not assign a value to it. Add a parameter to your anonymous links that specifies the site they will be shared on. For example, for the Facebook link you could add &site=fb.
