Surveys started vs. Responses in Progress

Hi,
I am trying to understand how many started but incomplete surveys I have in my research. The number of surveys marked as started (but not finished) in the Distribution section is not the same as the count of responses in progress in Data & Analysis. How is this possible?

The number of surveys marked as started (but not finished) in the Distribution section are the surveys that are just marked completed in the data and analysis because may be the survey session expired. Add a filter in data and analysis on survey meta data called finished.

    I don't think so. I have 215 surveys started (as counted on the distribution). On Data & Analysis, the count is 191 recorded responses and 9 responses in progress. How is this possible?
