I've done this in the past, but we found engagement extremely low. What worked better for us was turning that into a panel to whom we would ask periodic questions (with incentives, of course). Hope that helps!
@jpardicusick when you say "turn that into a panel" and "ask periodic questions", you mean an online research community that has its own platform OR a custom panel managed via email and questions are asked in a survey?
It was a custom panel with a stand-alone leaderboard (by rise.global), managed manually and sent surveys via email.
