Adding website link to an Templated Embedded Feedback question | XM Community
Skip to main content

Hello XM Community!

This is my first time posting, so please excuse any errors as I learn the platform 😊.

Background: We have developed a templated Embedded Feedback survey that appears after a customer interacts with a specific container on our website. The initial question was in line to "Was this helpful?" with a yes/no response. Customers who selected "no" received a follow-up question.

The Issue: Another team recently requested that we add a dynamic link to the first question. This link should direct customers to a specific page on our website when clicked. The link changes based on the website language, and this information is stored in the Google Data Layer.

My Questions: Is it possible to implement this type of setup within this creative? If so, can we connect this dynamic link to the Google Data Layer? Has anyone attempted this before?

Thank you in advance for any feedback!

Hi and welcome @Anastasia_pan

You will probably need a custom embedded feedback creative instead of the templated one for that. You could embed a target survey to which you would pass your data layer variables and manipulate them in the survey flow to build your dynamic link.

Thank you  @vgayraud , I will check that 😁
