Drop in Impressions Data

Hi all,

We have a survey embedded via Iframe with a sample rate of 100%. Since mid March, our impressions have apparently dropped by more than 50%. We have not made any changes to the survey or the page it is embedded in. Whenever we run tests on that page, the survey is successfully displayed and ‘Q Impress’ is also fired, hence we cannot reproduce any possible error. We are out of ideas, what caused the drop of impressions in our data. Is there anything else we could check?

If the Pageview is still up but Impression go down that might be something from the conditions is keeping them out. I think you can check for the Intercept targeting logic or the Frequency control in Directory if you are Init them with ExtRef and Directory linking.

If Pageview and Impression go down together, it’s simply because of the traffic to you page

 @DesiW Yeah, I didn’t say it’s wrong but is it keeping customer from getting invitation.

For example, you’re targeting the checkout drop-off customer and only 8% of your customer did. So, the pageview for that checkout page might still be huge but impression is just as little as around 8% of the pageview and it can be considered normal.

One more thing to check is Contact Frequency rule. Someone might visit your page, got survey invited and got quarantined for a while. Once they revisited it, the code still run & pageview still record them but the rule keep impression down.
