I have an intercept that works just fine as long as the selector is somewhere on the first page of out website. If I select an element on the next page as our selector, the intercept does not load. Is this a common problem? Does anyone know of a workaround solution?

I believe that is the ideal functionality.
Kindly check your action set logic on what conditions are you trying to show the intercept. Qualtrics intercept doesn't work on a per-user session basis on each website but it works per website page as one session. Hence, please be thoughtful of the conditions you apply. In your case my suggestion would be to use "contains" logic, and not "is equal to" while mentioning the website URL.
