You need to get the email id or if you’re getting respondents to login you can get that as well. Post you have that you can link to XM Directory. 

Else you can ask email, add authenticator and you should be able to link them.

thanks for your answer, i'm making them login and their id is the same as i have in external reference in qualtrics, but still it doesn't get the directory data.

I also put this code on top of the one that generates the intercept

In your code here, you need to replace “extRef” with your actual variable. That is, assuming your customer ID is not called extRef.

After that, I have a similar question. Our website sees the customer id and it matches the one in our XM directory. We used the code you copied and replaced, per the instructions, extRef with our variable script and we can see it is correct. Hmmmm…..

All posts like this are pretty old so I assume it has been resolved but I don’t know how people have done it.
