Was trying to find a way to set my embedded data to text-set in the Templated Embedded Feedback intercept.

Hey @Radam! Great question. If your target is a Qualtrics survey, you will need to add the Embedded Data fields the Survey Flow.

From there, click Options and you will be able to adjust the Variable Type to Text Set!

This way, the data will be captured from the intercept, and you will be able to specify that variable type for your analysis!

For embedded feedback intercepts there isn’t a target or editable survey.  If I look at the results within the intercept I only see these tabs?

Thank you for explaining your use case further! I may have to look into this more.

If you will be ultimately adding this data into the Dashboard, I know that you can adjust the field type in there into a Text Set.

Hey @Radam! Could you try going to Data & Analysis and seeing if you are able to go to the Field Editor? If so, you could create a manual field and then select that it is text:

And then you can choose the type:

Thank you, that works!

Hello - I’m having a similar issue that I have not been able to resolve.

  1. I need to pass through a unique ID that gets dropped on a cookie. I know the name of the cookie, but the value will be custom to the user. I’m not sure how embed this data to pass through to my survey.
  2. Additionally, I am trying to embed this data for a templated embedded feedback collector (thumbs up/down). As the above poster referenced, there is no “survey flow” area of the survey for this type of collector. Even if I can figure out how to embed the data I need, I have no way to see what's been collected in the Data & Analysis tab of my embedded feedback survey.  (I’ve been testing how to pass through my embedded data on regular survey collectors, just to see if I’ve been successful addressing my #1 above, but need some guidance as to how to see my embedded data for the embedded feedback collector use case)

First time using the community, so maybe this should be posted elsewhere, but felt related so dropping here…
