How does Qualtrics determine whether a workflow trigger fires once or multiple times for a single response, and what internal response states influence this behavior?

From my experience, workflows I’ve built are designed to fire once per response.

I’m unsure if a workflow can be designed to fire more than once per response.

What is your use case?

How does Qualtrics determine whether a workflow trigger fires once or multiple times for a single response, and what internal response states influence this behavior?

When configuring a workflow, you define an event condition that triggers the workflow when a new response is created or when an existing response is updated (via API or other mechanisms). Based on these selections, the trigger will fire accordingly.

Each workflow is designed for a specific event; however, a single response may be applicable to multiple workflows depending on the task conditions.

Are you asking if multiple workflows exist how does it determine which one will fire? If so, they will all be ran.
