Hello. I know there are email triggers for sending confirmation emails to participants after completing their survey. Is there a way to send a confirmation email to an address inputted into the survey?
For example, a site supervisor (respondent) fills out the form and the student at that site gets a copy of the form for their records. The respondent would enter the student's email into a box that the survey would then send the confirmation to.

You can do this with a trigger or workflow. Pipe the answer to the email question into the 'to:' field.

Thanks for the reply. I understand the concept of piped answers, but I don't know the code for it or how to generate it in the email trigger setting. Some more instruction would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Disregard. I created a new question in the survey and inserted the piped text. Then, I copy and pasted it into the email trigger.
