It depends on your “project name” field’s type.

All contact and embedded data fields are set to the most recent value when you merge contacts. If your “project name” is an embedded data field, when you merge your contacts, you’ll have the last value.

Transactional fields keep all previous values when you merge contacts, If your “project name” field is transactional, then you’ll keep all the “project name” values in that field.

Just a little clarification, once the merging is complete, let say I need to look for a specific contact on directory contacts, ex: Mr X, will I still have all information about ‘Lists’ and ‘Statistics’.. I mean all the lists from which Mr X was included, the total invites received, the total responses etc..
