Moving responses in progress to spss

I want to have a good understanding of my data as soon as possible. I would like therefore to add 'responses in progress' to the SPSS file I create with the complete responses. Just copying data from the CVS data file into SPSS is not working (they do not synchronize well). Any ideas? Thanks!

Other than importing the CSV data into SPSS, the only way to get partial response data into SPSS is to close the responses, which would prevent them from being completed.

      Thanks! do you have any idea why just copying sections is not working and the spss is not synchronized with the CVS?
