I recently did a directory upload and it made duplicate copies of contacts. I have the merge off and use an external data reference to avoid duplicates.
Is there a way to undo a directory upload? Let me know.

+29For future upload, you should set deduplicate rule to avoid similar incident.
If you want to recover the directory to previous state, contact Qualtrics support.
