Jump between loops (set current loop variable)

I would like participants to be able to jump between loops in a loop & merge, for example they should be able to go back to loop number 1 from loop number 5 by pressing a button. This is similar to what was asked here (https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/13821/table-of-contents-loop-and-merge) but I am specifically asking whether there is an internal variable that could be edited to achieve this.
