Force response for only one of ten openend boxes

Hi there, I'am wondering how to force an answer only for the first of several open end answers to the identical question. For example, for unaided awareness we are showing 10 OE boxes and would like to force an answer for the first box only. Many thanks in advance!

You can apply custom validation on right for first box only, if it is empty than throw error message. Do not force question just use custom validation.
