Final week of From Page to Practice.

Dr. Ben writes about the importance of mastering yourself before you can effectively lead others. It's about knowing who you are as a leader - and showing up consistently.

This week's reflection is simple:

"Describe your leadership style in 3 words."

No explanation needed (though you're welcome to add one). Just three words that capture how you lead.

Share below for your final chance to win a signed copy - and to be entered in the grand prize draw if you've participated in all three weeks.

One week until X4. See you in Seattle?

Always Trying Harder - Because leadership doesn’t come easily for me and I have to work at it every day.  When I fail it’s about picking myself up, dusting myself off and finding the strength to try again.

Love the vulnerability here and the acknowledgement that leaders is HARD - indeed in the very beginning of the book, I call it “effing hard”. Growth mindset for the win!

Quiet. Reflective. Inspiring.

Always learning from others. It's just four words, but I think I'm getting the message across. When I'm in a leadership role, I always try to let others know that I'm open to feedback so I can learn and grow. That's my way of empowering others.

Quiet. Reflective. Inspiring.

I remember meeting the CEO of one of the largest and most well respected airlines in Latin America. He was a living legend in his home country and within his company. One thing I noticed immediately was how quiet and reflective he was. He would almost appear to be napping but everyone assured me he was processing, deeply. At the very end of group discussions, he would chime in with some of the most thoughtful points (he clearly was listening!). Great one

Love this approach. In my humble opinion, leaders who “have all the answers” are unfit to lead other people...because they most certainly don’t and are either unaware or unwilling to acknowledge it!
