This sort of piggy-backs on the post below where there was a desire to restrict the options displayed.

there are ways to reorder the answer categories differently from their original position. It depends on the multi-select setup. Is the question single answer, multiple answers, or dropdown?

In this case, it is a single select dropdown. I believe the question is a split type which came from library and has day, month, and year.
I have JavaScript now where I remove items to shrink the list to only applicable choices. If I use the same object to try removeChild and appendChild it just doesn’t work.
I have a feeling this may be a limitation of how JavaScript is implemented within the Qualtrics platform. Thanks so much for responding.
