Enabling slider to snap to grid line in constant sum question

Hi there,
I am trying to introduce a JavaScript solution to make multiple sliders in a constant sum question snap to the grid line. Is there a solution that does not involve custom validation like this post: https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/11864/enabling-sliders-snap-to-grid-feature-with-constant-sum-slider (because in my survey, I have a carry forward with 50 options)?
