How to display the starting value of a slider handle

Hello, I have used a Custom Start Position for a slider question – when one moves the slider bar, the numeric value is displayed and changes with the movement. However, I can’t make it display the numeric value just above the slider handle when the question is shown first, that is before one moves the slider handle…is there a way to have the numeric value shown just above the slider handle when one views the question (and before moving the handle)? Thank you!

Have you tried setting the Default Choice to the number you want it to start on?

Hello @mklubeck, Thanks a lot for your help - I have tried it now and unfortunately it doesn’t work… it does show me the value on the right end of the scale when I am working on the question. However, when I view the question as a participant, it has the slider handle set at the value, but no numeric value displayed…
