In Qualtrics, parent-child hierarchies used in dropdown or search questions only allow selecting nodes that have children, which excludes lowest-level (leaf) users. When working with large participant lists, what is a scalable and maintainable way to ensure these leaf users can still be selected and evaluated—without adding dummy participants to the hierarchy?
