I would suggest starting by addressing the problem with traditional employee experience tools, to attack your focus which are developera, I would use a tool like employee personas or some archetype tool to emphasize what is unique to this segment of your employees. Also analyze their journey very well and if in your particular case you want to address the experience of the digital employee, focus on how the workspace adjusts to their lifestyle.
