Topic: Setting Values from the Survey URL

A commonly overlooked tool is the Survey URL, by adding embedded data field names and values to the end of the survey link you can still bring embedded data into the survey for each respondent. This feature comes in handy when you have the survey link posted in multiple places and want to know which source is bringing in the most responses. For example, if you have your survey posted on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, you can add an embedded data field in your survey flow and a Source field and value to your link.

This way you can keep track of which of these platforms brought in the most traffic before the respondent even begins answering your questions. This use case is also barely scratching the surface of what the Survey URL can do, you can pass even more information into your surveys via Query Strings.

Make the most out of your data collection by setting values from the survey URL today!

Question of the Day: What information would you pass along via Survey URLs? Have you ever needed to add a source element to your URL to know where the respondent took the survey from?

Can you pass ticket data via Survey URLs? Is there any specific considerations for doing this?
