Tell us about your role:
As the Workforce Strategy & Operations Manager for the County of Bruce, I provide leadership and support to the Workforce Strategy Division and all Managers and Supervisors across the County. This includes payroll, compensation, benefits, budgets, systems, pay equity, job descriptions and overarching direction for the Human Resources Department. The key responsibility is advancing strategic initiatives, developing and maintaining policy and procedures and aligning business objectives with various business units.
Tell us about a customer experience project you run on Qualtrics that is particularly impactful:
Onboarding/Offboarding Employees experience Surveys. We were trying to understand the employees experience when they were onboarding and then the reasonings for offboarding. We implemented the onboarding survey for staff who have been here for 90 days and the offboarding survey for staff who have left. The results have been very informative and we have built out telling dashboards that can be filtered by department, employment status etc. to help us drive to specific areas of improving.
What would you like to learn from others in the community?
I am always looking for a leaner and more efficient way of producing business objectives and love learning successful outcomes on new or enhanced processes.
If time and money were endless, what would be your dream experience (e.g., vacation, concert, opportunity, education, etc.)?
If I could do anything, I would love to travel the world and actually live in each country for a period of time to fully experience the culture of all the different ethnicities, practices and daily lives.
