How to include 'carry forward choices' in .txt file?

There are guidelines on this page (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-tools/import-and-export-surveys/#ImportTXTDoc) how to write a .txt file and then import it into qualtrics.

I want to use the carry forward choices option for my questions and wanted to know if I could do it in the .txt file.
In particular I want to carry forward the unselected choices from the previous question.

Is there a way to write this into the file I'll import?

You can't specify carryforward in your .txt import file. Just leave [[Choices]] blank, then turn on carryforward in the Qualtrics editor after import.
