Is it possible to integrate giving a Google review in Qualtrics survey? | XM Community

We want to send out a survey asking for the satisfaction with our travel agencies. A legacy provider has the ability to integrate giving a google review in a survey. Does anybody know if that is also possible in Qualtrics? Thanks!

hi sonja
So redirecting to Google review page of a certain place is not very difficult.
the google review page can be reached with the URL mentioned below
https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=
In the above URL, All i need to do is add the google assigned place id and automatically you will be redirected to that review page.
for example: I want people to review the InOrbit Mall Malad,

  1. To accomplish this i will search for the place_id for this location on https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/places-placeid-finder. I got the place Id as ChIJA7kjFTS35zsRPrm3ZzmArSg

  2. Now i can redirect people to https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=ChIJA7kjFTS35zsRPrm3ZzmArSg . If they are logged into their google account then they will be shown the pop up to review the place. Otherwise they will have to log in and then they can see the review page.

So you can create such a link for your travel agency and then use the End of survey element to redirect the said respondents to this link. You can find below the link to supprt pages where it is shown how you can use the End of survey element.

sonja Another thing you might want to think about is using the Embedded Feedback feature in Qualtrics. This creates a widget that automatically appears at the bottom of every page and only asks one or two questions, the first being a thumbs up/thumbs down or a star rating, and the second (optional) being a fill in the blank question for verbatim feedback. This tends to net a lot of responses fairly quickly--the response rates are typically higher than for a regular site intercept. You can also code it so that it only appears if your Google survey does not fire, so they don't conflict with each other. It's a nice feature, and you can connect it with the same reporting, analytics, and dashboards that you would for a "regular" survey.
