I am looking for a thought partner in creating an educator evaluation (EE) system within Qualtrics. I have the forms created but need someone to bounce ideas around with on the best way to structure embedded data fields, dashboards, workflows, etc. Or if anyone has done this work and has suggestions from their trial and errors, I’d love to hear them.

I built our teacher evaluation system in Qualtrics this past year. It was a ton of work, but our principals and teachers all used it successfully. Our state mandates that our teacher evaluation system be aligned to the Charlotte Danielson framework, circa 2013. We built classroom observation forms with indicators aligned to this framework. The evaluation consists of two classroom observations which are averaged together with a total score for two domains: Classroom Enviroment and Instruction and Use of Assessment. Teacher’s receive a total score for each domain which is then translated into an overall 1-4 score for each domain. Feel free to reach out if you want to discuss more.

@jmborzick I’m not sure what Josh is able to share with you as he was contracted out to do this work, but I remember he showed his process at the WI meeting last year!

Are you using the course evaluations/qclassroom tool to deploy assessments currently? I ask because that puts all required forms, rubrics, assessments etc… in one central location for someone to complete. Instead of one email with one link to one survey, this is one link that displays everything they need to complete.

I agree with @jlsisthebest course evaluation portal would be a good option. Integrating the LMS portal for Instructors to access the evaluations via email and LMS.

Same, I’m in an EPP and we have our field supervisors complete T-TESS observations, Evals, Dispositions etc... on the clinical teachers that are aligned to TEA and CAEP and other national standards. Happy to share any of our work out either in preview or qsf files, nothing is proprietary.
