How to manage Embedded Data fields for multiple projects

Hi,
I would like to manage all Embedded Data fields on each WAF-Action Set and Surveyflow for multiple projects.
I will have multiple WAF projects with each having multiple ActionSets and also multiple surveys. As they are used in different environments (development, testing, production) I want to separate them to allow development without affecting testing and still keep production stable.
This results in maintaining a lot of Embedded Data fields which are basically all the same but need to be updated in "waves" (first dev, then test, finally production). Doing that manually will be a huge effort as there is no code-like editor for Embedded Data were I can just copy-paste a prepared Embedded Data "definition".
Is there any possibility to write a small script which allows me to access the ActionSets on defined WAF projects and also defined Surveys and their surveyflow to add/update/delete Embedded data fields?
This would prevent errors when maintaining them manually and would save a lot of time and effort. It could finally also be integrated into my pipeline to ensure that once a specific version of my app is reaching the next state the correct set of embedded data is put in place.
