What is error code ESRV47?

I’ll be honest, the last time I had an error code issue I googled it and was able to solve it.  Take this with a grain of salt, but here’s what i found:

The Qualtrics error code ESRV47 (or similar ESRV error messages) generally indicates a, "Your organization's email server is misconfigured" error, often linked to issues with the SMTP relay. 

North Dakota State University (NDSU)

This is an email distribution error that typically occurs when trying to send survey invitations through the Qualtrics mailer.

Common Causes & Solutions

• SMTP Relay Misconfiguration: The primary cause is that your organization's IT team has not properly set up the SMTP relay within Qualtrics.
• Server Down: The email server authorized to send on your behalf is currently unavailable.
• Unverified From Address: You may be using a "From Address" that has not been verified or added to your organization's brand settings.
