We're using loop and merge to randomly display 10 email messages out of 243. Is there a way we can provide participants with progress information, i.e. either by marking the questions as x/10 or showing a "there are 5 messages left" maybe midway through?

Since Qualtrics handles the math for you, you can simply type the piped text directly into your Question Text. 

${lm://CurrentLoopNumber} / ${lm://TotalLoops}
