Authenticating only works in survey preview

I’m having an odd error where I can successfully get past my survey’s authenticator when I preview my survey, but if I try to login to the live version of the survey I get the “unable to login in with the information provided” error.

@WillV in this instance I would recommend reaching out to Support directly to explore any issues that might be causing this.  The only reason I could see is potentially the settings if you have enabled functions to prevent multiple responses.

Did you publish your changes? Try re-publishing the survey and try the live link again. If possible try a new link instead of using the same.

Do you have the “ignore validation” option selected in the preview link? That might be why you’re only able to get past the authenticator in the preview.
