Bulk Edit Data field

Since you have 20 columns to change, just to be on the safer side, download the data make the changes and upload in a new survey.

Each imported response to your survey is a new response, which mean that if you export the responses data from your survey, edit that file (csv/tsv) and then import back to your survey, qualtrics will create new response rather than replace or overwrite pre-existing responses.
You can “udpate” by export response data > edit file > delete all old response > import response file but note that imported responses are billable (if your qualtric account have license)
I suggest you use API to update response (if you update embedded data) or Edit Multiple Response through this guide https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/data-and-analysis-module/data/response-editing/#EditingMultipleResponses

The update response API can update a single response at a time. However, our toolkit uses the bulk embedded data endpoint to update up to 250,000 responses at once. We are GDPR and privacy compliant.
