Can survey respondents see if a question is required?

At the moment, our surveys do not show the respondents if a question is required. Is there a way to turn that feature on? I looked around in the documentation and the community to find that answer but all I can find is how to make questions required on the backend.

Currently, we are unable to display whether a survey question is mandatory to customers. You will need to manually indicate in the survey text that a question is mandatory, or alternatively, utilize the 'Force Response' feature. This will prompt customers to provide an answer if they attempt to submit the survey without answering the mandatory question.

You’ll have to go to the look and feel section. Depending upon the layout you’ve selected, it may be possible.

Ok thank you. I’ll send that request to Evolve. It seems odd that this isn’t a feature already available when most other survey platforms include it.

It is possible to add JavaScript to the survey header to automatically indicate force response questions (as long as you aren’t using Simple layout).
