Hello Experts,

can the survey closing message in the EX module be changed to “This survey is already closed. Participation is therefore no longer possible” in German?

Currently, the following survey closing message is displayed when a participant clicks on the link of an already closed project: This assessment can no longer be completed.

The term “assessment” is misleading and not appropriate in German. The term “survey” is much more appropriate.

However, we believe the following survey closing message is more appropriate: “This survey is already closed. Participation is therefore no longer possible.” So the text in German should be: “Diese Umfrage ist bereits geschlossen. Eine Teilnahme ist daher nicht mehr möglich".

Thx for your help

Kind Regards

Harald

Hi,

The one you need to customize for that is in the Responses section:

Hi Harald,

Have you tried updating the message under “Survey Options” > “Post-Survey” > “Message for revisiting a completed survey”? See the option below. While you are only looking to configure a custom message for German, I believe you would need to add a custom message for all relevant languages that your users may use. If you don’t configure all relevant languages in the custom message, then I believe all users will see the German version of the message.

You would want to create your message in the library as a “General” message. See the documentation on library message translations below.

Hello,

Thank you very much for your feedback and tips. However, our question was about the fact that if the survey is already closed and someone opens the survey link again, a misleading text is currently displayed.

We would like to change this text in German.
Do you have any advice or tips on how to do this?

Many thanks,
Harald Prokschy
