Creating a fake "recording audio" graphic

I'm running a study where participants will perform an impromptu public speaking task over Qualtrics. We're going to tell them that Qualtrics will automatically record their audio and submit their speech after four minutes. We don't actually want to record them, we just want them to think they're being recorded. I'm wondering if there is a way to create some type of fake "audio recording" graphic to display on the screen during this task. It would be great if it had a red blinking light or something to make it seem real.
Does anyone have any leads on how I might do this?

Display a 'recording audio' gif (animated image). It should be easy enough to find one through an Internet search.

Is there a way to actually record speech responses?? and then later convert them to text?
