Custom domain in anonymous survey link | XM Community

In survey link, I would like to custom domain in the URL, use any name apart from my company name. Could you suggest the way to do it?

The reason is because we launch survey in external panel and we don’t want respondents to know at first where the survey come from.

I try bitly and rebrandly, but it just shorten the URL, while respondent click the link it’s still show the original URL in the browser path which contain my company name.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @BeamQualtrics

That company name in the link is your organization id . You have to contact the Qualtrics support to change your organization id.

You might be interested in setting up a Vanity URL:

Qtip: Subdomains do not need to contain your brand name. This is useful if you would like to collect feedback without exposing your brand.

Example: For example, let’s say your company’s website is brandinc.org, and therefore your Qualtrics branded URL is brandinc.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1234567890. You can purchase the subdomain surveys.research.org and use this subdomain as your vanity URL. After implementing the vanity URL, your survey URLs would be surveys.research.org/jfe/form/SV_1234567890.

If you’re OK with a generic URL that doesn’t identify your company (as opposed to a custom URL), you might contact your Qualtrics brand admin and see if the “Restrict surveys to domain” feature can be disabled in your brand. If it’s disabled, you may be able to send a survey under the qualtrics URL or one of their generic domains.
