Customized views for data analysis

Hi all
I'm new to Qualtrics. Im busy with data analysis on my first survey and cannot seem to find what I'm looking for. I have 2 sets of questions in my survey, one group relates to theme A and the other one to theme B. I did not use a matrix structure for these 2 sets of questions as it was difficult to read, the statements/questions was a bit long and skewed the matrix view for recipients. Hence creating 20 individual questions in one block and 20 individual questions in another block to separate them. I now want to group certain questions together to create certain views. I will explain below:
Scenario 1
Category A (ultimate roll up of 12 questions)
sub-category 1 - roll up of 3 questions
sub-category 2 - roll up of 3 questions
sub-category 3 - roll up pf 3 questions
sub-category 4 - roll up of 3 questions
Category B (ultimate roll up of 6 questions)
sub-category 1 - roll up of 3 questions
sub-category 2 - roll up of 3 questions
Category C (ultimate roll up of 3 questions)
sub-category 1 - roll up of 3 questions

Scenario 2
Category A - roll up of 10 questions
Category B - roll up of 10 questions
How do I create views to support the above or will I have to export my raw data into excel and create it there?
