When completing a SMS distribution there should be a feature to stopping the distribution if the survey being sent out has an error.
On the current platform this feature isn’t available.

I would submit the idea for you, but unfortunately, I am not able to do so as a Qualtrics employee. Submitting an idea is easy, however, so if you use the link above, scroll down a little in the Evolve table, and click the button that says, “Submit New Idea Here,” it will go straight to the Qualtrics product team!
The product team reviews each and every idea, and your idea should appear in the table after the team review it.
