How can obtain the total Comments received in a survey?

Hi folks,

I would like to add in my Survey report the total comments received, we have 30 questions but 10 of these questions have a free text box to add comments about our IT service so, I would like to show in the leader report how many comments we receive for each open text box, see below example marked in red.

I am not positive what report you are talking about, but we accomplish this in a comment box in the dashboard.

We select “show number of responses”

We deselect “show responses with no content”

That give us the number of people who actually typed something in the box.

I may be oversimplifying, so let me know.

To include the total number of comments for each open text box in your survey reports, follow these steps:

Insert the open-ended questions to the Reports tab
Display the number of responses received
If needed, apply breakout criteria to segment the data
Configure the visualization to show columns with the open-text responses. This lets you view detailed answers for each question
Use a Results Table visualization to display the response count for each text entry question, showing the total number of comments received
