How to delay a submission until a video has played? | XM Community

Hello everybody,
I'm currently running a study where respondents have to rate a series of 4 second long videos, however I want to ensure that each person has watched them. Is there a way I can hide the submit button until the full video has played?
I'm currently delaying the submission for 5 seconds - but this doesn't work if the video takes a while to load. Sometimes with my internet, the 5 seconds elapse before the video has even populated, meaning that I could submit my response without having watched anything. Is there something I can add to get around this?
Thanks, J

Hi Zetland,
If your video is inserted as media, this post here should do what you need.
If it's embedded from a website (eg: Youtube, Google Drive etc) it's likely more complicated. But hopefully the first solution fits your use case!
Good luck!

eg Vimeo: https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/14377/make-vimeo-iframe-non-interactive-after-pressing-play
eg Youtube (not sure if solved): https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/comment/51988
