How to use Qualtrics to post invitations | XM Community
Skip to main content

Hello,

I want to use Qualtrics to post the invitation to a corporate event I am hosting. I need to post directions, my contact details, and a few other details. I can create a survey with a single Text/Graphic question where I post all of this info.

There are a couple of problems:

  1. Once it goes live, I can’t change any details. How can I get around this without generating a new URL link or QR code?
  2. If people click the “Next” Bottom, then it’s over. I don’t want to lose their attention. Is there anyway I could disable the next bottom so that they can only see my message?

Please let me know what you think, even if you have an answer for just one of the questions.

Best,

For question 2, check this post.

Since your survey just have one text/ graphic question, the respondent will everytime see the last published version whenever they refresh the page.

Perhaps you can post all these information as a custom message in the Inactive survey message of survey setting, then publish to make it live before pausing the collection. This way, anyone who gets to this survey through an anonymous link can view the information anytime.

  1. You can make textual edits, it doesn't change the live URL link or QR code. it just that, clients/users need to refresh to see your changes.
  2. You can use JS solution provided by Shashi in the above comment.

@QualtricsDude you could look at also using a workflow to send an email at the end of a survey with these details, if you ask for email address or include as embedded data.   I feel this would be more reliable that it is seen and people would have access to it, after they have finished the survey.
