I’m trying to clean my survey data because some of the responses were recorded after Sep 30 but I want them to be a part of Q3 (Jul-Sep). How can I do this? I tried creating a new field and copied the Recorded Date but when I tried to change the date of one of the responses, the new field is not an option.

Yes, it’s possible you need to run a workflow if you don’t want to make changes in survey or publish it.
Create webservice task post survey response which updates the response recorded.
+46You wouldn’t be able to modify the recorded date but you can create a new embedded data field and fill those values by exporting current data and then reimporting it.

Is there a way to auto-fill it with the recorded date moving forward? This is a live survey so I’m editing a few records from the past but I want the embedded data to continuously get populated by recorded date moving forward.
