Longitudinal survey without collecting identifiable information | XM Community

Hi,
I'm trying to set up a survey which uses a link I can send out via email to allow participants to enter data a three time points. I want to be able to link the responses using an anonymous number but I cannot collect any identifiable details (eg: name, email) and can't use qualitrics to send the emails out. Is there a way to link different surveys via a number rather than a name or email? Is there a way to enter contacts using anonymous numbers I create so the system can expect responses from these participants?
I've tried to do this via redcap previously but keep running into the problem that I can't collect emails because the project is research and these are the stipulations of my ethical approval.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Here is the case study from qualtrics. You can send email from qualtrics make your survey annonymous from survey options, so that the email address is not captured.
