Hello,

I scored Matrix Table type Likert by numbers 1, 2, 3, 3.5 and 4 and in report I have scoring 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Why I have scores from 1 to 5 instead of 1, 2, 3, 3.5 and 4.

Many thanks.

Did you recode the questions in the survey to 1, 2, 3, 3.5 and 4? The dashboard probably took the number of the question, so 1-5.

You should recode the answer options by clicking on the matrix, go to the left menu and search for Recode values.

You can also recode values within the data mapper of the Dashboard, just click the geart icon and recode it there.

It is exactly created for your use case, as you want to report the scales with a different score. For instance, we also have the likert scale from 1-5.

  • Of which 1 = score of 10
  • 2 = 7.5
  • 3 = 5
  • 4 = 2.5
  • 5 = 0

This is just how all likert scales are transformed to numbers, of which we can create average scores.
