This is an important product notification regarding the upcoming deprecation of Legacy Results-Reports

Legacy Results-Reports are being retired. To avoid disruptions, you'll need to move to Results Dashboards.

What you need to do

If you only use question pages:
No action is required. Question pages will automatically move to Results Dashboards on September 30, 2026. We recommend exploring Results Dashboards before then so you're familiar with the experience.

If you use custom pages:
Migrate your custom pages before September 30, 2026. Custom pages of Legacy Results won't transfer automatically.

Learn how to tell question and custom pages apart.

If you want to keep a copy of your current reports
Download PDF versions of your Legacy Results-Reports before September 16, 2026, when editing access ends.

Important dates

  • September 16, 2026: You can no longer edit Legacy Results-Reports.
  • September 30, 2026: Question pages automatically move to Results Dashboards.
  • October 1, 2026: You can no longer view or create new Legacy Results-Reports.

Hi,

To be clear, this affects only the Results tab right? The Reports tab will stay untouched and available?

You are correct - this only affects the Results tab, and does not have any impact on the Reports tab.

registering dislike. The new dashboard results are basically worthless

I have a question about the impact on Advanced Reports. Currently, I can use a Legacy Results Report as the starting point when creating an Advanced Report. With Legacy Results Reports being retired, will Advanced Reports need to be built from scratch going forward?

Alternatively, are there plans for Results Dashboards to provide similar functionality, allowing users to use them as a starting point for creating Advanced Reports?

Hello @Tom_1842, thanks for asking this question. I will send this over to our PM and have that answer for you asap. 😊

I received the message about this change, but I am a little unclear on it. We have hundreds of results pages that have been created by hundreds of different users within our institution.

  • Is the conversion process as simple as selecting the “Try Now” button in the message or do I have to instruct users to do something different?
  • Do they have to download older results reports if they convert the results to the new version?
  • As a brand admin, is there a way for me to convert these files in bulk or does it have to be done by each individual user?

Thanks!

What larskati said.

Qualtrics communications often seem to address Brand Admins and End Users indiscriminately. So it’s not clear whether we as admins are meant to do something ourselves, or ask our users to do it (and how do we identify which users, or do we need to contact all of them en-masse).

Some clarification would be great, thanks!

It would be very helpful if Qualtrics provided more advance notice about deprecations like this. The current notice does not allow enough time to identify affected users and communicate the necessary changes effectively—especially since users have only until September 16 to make changes or save copies.

We received this message, but I do not see the “Try It Now” prompt when viewing the Results page in our instance. This makes it unclear and confusing to determine what next steps should be taken or how to advise our users.

Our iteration also does not see the “Try it Now” prompt when viewing the Results page. I’m confused.

I was told by a support rep that I must have switched to the new Results Dashboard...but I never made any such change? You can confirm if you’re on the new version by going to Results > Gear icon > Themes and then below you’ll see the option to revert to the legacy version. As a Brand Admin, I checked accounts for users that left our university years ago (so they wouldn’t have had the opportunity to opt in) and they have the same view that I do. Was our instance switched to the new version without our knowledge? Does that mean there are users out there with broken custom pages as a result?
