+1I am adding question labels to my survey questions. The character limit for question labels should be 20,000. However, it won’t let me add more than a few words! I’m far from 20,000 characters.
I just added numbers to explain what I mean. It won’t let me type more, it stops typing. Not sure why.
+35The 20,000 limit applies to the question text itself. The label has a different (much smaller) limit.
Is there a reason why you need such long labels?
The labels show up e.g. in drop-down lists. So extremely long texts are not recommended anyway.
+41Labels are basically to summarize the question text. Labels are generally used to read the QText in Excel/SPSS and as well as to read in dropdown list while populating widgets in the dashboard. there is no reason to keep label in that long way. Better to keep it blank, so your Qtext will automatically appear in the dataset.
