Repeating a randomly selected question for validation | XM Community

Hello,

I am creating a survey with several levels of randomness, but I want to show the participant the same question later in the survey to validate their sample.

In the survey, the participant is randomly presented 10 out of 20 blocks, and in each block, 1 out of 10 possible questions is randomly presented. (they answer 10 questions in total) I want to have an 11th question, where the user must answer 1 of the previous questions again.

Ideally, this 11th question would be randomly placed within the original 10 questions, but it is acceptable if it is just an extra 11th question.

Is there a way to do this in Qualtrics? (Also, I am just using the free trial account, without the full feature set)

One of the way which is littel time consuming is : create a block with all 200 questions (20 block * 10 questions in each block). Add display logic on each of those 200 questions which will be - to show if the respective question was shown in previous block. Add randomization to the block with 200 questions to display only one question randomly.

However, I doubt the above solution would work becuase on trial license we have limitation on number of questions as well.
