Revised Anonymous Liink

I am a PhD Student and have recently received IRB approval. I am attempting to create or update the anonymous link for my survey in Qualtrics as the current one does not direct you to the most recent and final version of my survey.

Can anyone advise on how to make this change of regenerating a new link address?

Hi,

You don’t need a new link, it stays the same even if you update a survey.

Few things to check mayne:

  • Be sure to publish the latest changes in the survey builder.
  • Delete the in-progress responses from the Data & Analysis tab (in-progress responses will keep their original version, if you allowed respondents to come back to their started surveys, they’ll stay on an old version)
  • Be sure to use the actual anonymous link from the Distributions tab and not a preview link

I second @vgayraud - I’ve done that before where I made a bunch of changes, generated the link, and forgot to hit publish.  Very easy to overlook!

I second @vgayraud comments too. It looks like you forgot to hit the publish button on the survey after making edits.
