Shall we translate Base Language from French to English

Hello,

Need your advise!  One user created the survey questions in French language.

I would like to create Dashboard for that survey, I don’t know French. 

I have checked at my end, there is a survey on the left hand side ‘Translations’. If i click on translations can i change the Base language from French to English? I choose English below message appears.

What is the best way to change the language from French to English? 

Suppose if i change to English and click on Delete button whether all the survey questions is translated?

Hi @Kumaran , did you try to change the base language from survey translation settings?

Make sure never delete any translations. Always use hide from respondent feature to deactivate it. Make English as base language, if language is already there, then work on dashboard. then you can directly add translations in your dashboard instead of survey and work on it.

Thanks for your Reply, already the user has been created Survey Questions. User has selected the Base Language as French.

That migh be reason as survey must be running in French majority country. Now, you should add the translations in Dashboard. You can download the English translations (if available) from survey and also export the file from Dashboard translations (under dashboard setting), mapp the English translations and import the file before starting your dashboard representation work.
