Hi everyone,

 

I am trying to create something like this on my dashboard using a slider question. Ideally, I would like to plot each individual response, which would then allow me to calculate and display the average.

I have tried using the Scatterplot widget, but I can only get it to display the total of all responses rather than the individual responses.

You should be able to achieve the above using a scatterplot widget if you map the data set attributes as follows:

  • Local Index should be mapped as a number set attribute
  • Year should be mapped as a number set attribute
  • Map response Id as a text set attribute and use it to group by on the scatterplot widget.

I use scatterplots quite extensively and have used it frequently similar use case as yours. The only thing that might not work is the threshold separator. The Scatterplot widget in Qualtrics allows us to add  threshold for both X and Y axis which is a straight line at right angle from the axis.
