Automated individual analyses
Hi. I want to create automated responses to individual participants for each block in a survey I'm working on.
For example, there's a block on confidence for physical activity, with all questions using a 1-10 scale. I would like Qualtrics to take an individual's responses to this block's questions and create a mean, so that I can categorise them as 'high' or 'low' (mean response below 7), and send them a tailored response based on this categorisation.
Any ideas?!

This can be done with either a math operation or by using the scoring feature.
+1Have you considered using javascript? You can do the math there and save the results in embedded data variables for piping into a report page and/or email at the end of the survey.
